Under Florida state law, if you are involved in an accident you must provide the following to the other party involved:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Driver’s license
  • Vehicle registration

If there is any property damage you must stop to check the extent of the damage to any property involved in the crash, including your own. We advise that you use your smartphone to take pictures at the scene. In addition, if the accident resulted in an injury or death to any person, you have an obligation to provide reasonable assistant and arrange for medical care.
